OFFICE 365 CHANGES ITS NAME, IT IS NOW
MICROSOFT 365
Since April 21, 2020, Office 365 is called Microsoft 365, it is the same subscription as before, but with more advantages and at the same price. Microsoft 365 is an integrated suite of applications and services that makes artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge innovations available to you. Thus Microsoft wants the new name to reflect these features and benefits.

What is Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is a blanket term for many of Microsoft’s cloud software services. The SaaS (Software as a Service) model replaces the old practice of purchasing software and downloading it on the lone computer each of your employees uses at work. The basic idea is that subscriptions to these services give you access to your office 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. So whether you sign in from a tablet or smart phone on the road, a laptop in your bedroom at home, or a desktop in your actual office at work, you can access any of the tools or information you may need. Multiple devices, multiple locations—same access.
